Creating paintings that are meaningful and personal
Are you’re looking for that special piece that has a specific subject matter, style, color palette, or size? A custom painting is a perfect option! At our initial meeting we explore your inspiration, details, price point, and timeframe. After this collaboration, a sketch is created. Next the real magic happens… I bring your artwork to life. After we help with the installation, you have your own story and your own special connection to the piece because you are part of the creative process.
Frank, 2024
Edwards, Colorado
These clients reached out to me because they particularly liked a series of paintings that I had recently finished. The piece they were most interested in had already been sold and they wanted something a bit larger for their space. I was able to take a rug, wallpaper, and curtain sample to the studio to use for inspiration. Because they wanted something that was similar to the work that I was doing at the time, I completed 3 paintings and they were able to choose the one that suited them best. I love this piece in this space!

Malin, 2022
Edwards, Colorado
A very special birthday surprise for a very special lady! The instructions from this client’s husband were to include a mama and baby elephant, the color green, and to keep it a surprise! She was so excited and still sends me sweet messages about the joy that this piece brings her. Joy all around!

Mertens, 2021
Vail, Colorado
This family wanted to add some color to a neutral bedroom. They found a painting they loved from my completed pieces. It was too big for the room, so I recreated a smaller version to suit them. Everyone was happy with the results… even the dog!

Vail Nordic Center, 2019
Vail, Colorado
When ‘Vail Arts in Public Places’ contacted me to create a piece for the newly remodeled Nordic Center, I was thrilled! It had been a long time goal of mine to have a piece that was part of the Vail’s Public Collection. The Vail AIPP board selected a few of my original pieces that sparked inspiration for this project. With this collaboration, the sketch was created and a beautiful piece transpired! Check this piece out in person the next time you’re in Vail. As always, the pictures really don’t do it justice.

Dennis, 2018
Minturn, Colorado
After finishing the construction of their dream home, this family was looking to brighten up the stairway. They came to me with several images including an old postcard of Gore Canyon and a color palette of purple and orange (yes, please)! We were able to achieve the client’s goals for the space by choosing a size that fits perfectly, brightening up the stairway panel while complementing the surrounding materials.

Wooldridge, 2018
New Orleans, Louisiana
These clients wanted to add some pizzazz to an otherwise traditional southern entry room with an original piece of artwork. They came to me with a handful of images of paintings that inspired them for this eclectic piece. After brainstorming compositions, color palettes, subject matter, and backgrounds together, Elizabeth was born! Queen Elizabeth is a real party animal. She loves long walks in the park, Champagne, and anything that sparkles , and Mardi Gras is her favorite time of year! Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Wolf, 2012
Saint Louis, Missouri
This painting was commissioned by a dear friend of mine. Her vision for this piece was based on a vivid dream she experienced. If you look closely in the house, you can see the Aspen trees inside. I love the feeling of this piece.
